Outdoor Family Shoots in Bristol

There are so many beautiful spots around Bristol and I can recommend a few of my favourite locations! If you had anywhere in mind you can let me know. I will travel further afield for a small fee agreed in advance.

A VERY good question in this country! I always do a weather check the afternoon before a shoot and will get in touch if things look a bit ropey. Overcast is fine and a bit of drizzle can even be quite fun with younger kids, but I’ll never have you outside if you’re not happy. We can always rearrange or if the dates aren’t lining up, you can come to the studio or even to your home as a back up!

This is totally up to you, although I generally recommend an outdoor shoot for 18 months up. As soon as your little one is on the go, the studio can get a bit frustrating as they want to explore and not be in one place. Being outdoors can let them be themselves and run around if they want! If you have a big family, a location shoot can also be better as my studio can be a bit small (and warm!) for larger groups. I would 100% recommend the studio for ages 0-4 months.
